The Cross Country championships is made up of  5 races, 4 league races taking place at various locations around Gloucestershire from October to February, plus the county championship race. 20 points for the first runner home and then one less for each runner thereafter. Most points at the end of the season wins! The County Championships race is held every January where people also compete for a chance to represent Gloucestershire at the Inter-counties.

Cirencester AC have always competed in the league races especially and the competition, camaraderie and cake afterwards is always excellent!
