The weekend saw the final cross country meet for the season take place at Over Farm. Dorian has kindly produced a report of the days events and a round up of the results. If you haven’t already seen it, check out the previous News Feed post to see how our teams got on.
Joyce Matthews had a super run at the Castle Combe Chilly 10k. This is a great event for anyone chasing a new PB – flat, no traffic, no tight corners or congestion. Joyce finished in 45.19 and took 2nd LV45 spot.

As ever, club members were at parkruns far and wide. Of note, amongst all the great running, Ruth ran a superb 81.6% age graded 29.43 at Exmouth. Ollie Campbell ran a new PB on the Chippenham course to take 1st place.
Also finishing first, and by quite some margin, was James Thomas at Cirencester. Wendy Nicholls was 1st lady, with her 83.53% age graded run. Rachel Ranger ran her best time ever at Cirencester. Paul Edrich timed things perfectly to make parkrun part of his weekend long run. And lovely to see Louise Abbott back running and, as always, with a big smile!
