A well-attended AGM on Tuesday evening saw the seamless handover of the leadership of the club's committee, with the team of Pam Wheeler and Ruth Fulford stepping down after 12 years service as Chair and Secretary respectively.
After speeches thanking them on behalf of the membership, both were presented with flowers and an engraved vase.

In line with the club's constitution, Pam now becomes President.
Incoming Chairman Luke Campbell thanked Pam and Ruth for their help in handing over the reins, and assured them that their work for the club would not be forgotten.
Luke then welcomed Rich Allen, taking over from Ruth as secretary. Together with Tash Pauck, (fairly) new Head of Coaching, the "new blood" on the committee has substantially improved its age diversity.
He shared an update on plans for the 40th anniversary celebrations on Saturday 28th June (please do keep it free in your diary).
Two new IT developments have also been launched - a new version of Whatsapp and Spond - members are asked to use Spond going forwards to manage attendances at training.
Finally he set out his three goals for the next year, which are easy to state but harder to achieve
Increase attendances at senior training sessions above 30%
Increase membership in the 20-40 age categories for both men and women
Re-introduce monthly social events - #bringbackpizzaandchips!
If you couldn't attend the AGM, but have any suggestions or comments, please let a committee member know by the end of the month so they can be considered at the next meeting.
