New Territory for Martin and a PB for Aaron

First this week, a little teaser about a big story coming very soon.

Some of you may study the race results each week. Some of you may follow our very own marathon man Martin Croucher and his extraordinary antics on Strava. You may then know that, at the time of writing, he is more than half way through an “out of this world” challenge.

On Sunday, Aaron Willis and new club member Mike Hobbs pitted themselves against the fast, flat, two lap course of the Eynsham 10k in Oxfordshire with excellent results.

Aaron reports that it was a cold, grey day and that the race was an Oxfordshire AAA race and had attracted a field packed with quick runners. Aaron was just seconds outside his ultimate goal of sub 35 but was nevertheless delighted to take 30 seconds off the PB he set in April this year.

Mike finished in a superb sub 40 minutes and placed highly in his V50 age group.

Congratulations to them both.
