News on more "Low Key Open" events for Under 10s to U14s

Further to previous blog there are three events at Prince of Wales stadium, Tommy Taylor Lane, Cheltenham:

• 25th June

You can enter the events by simply adding your child's name to the spreadsheet and transferring the money, as state don spreadsheet. Entries to first event are open, here .

There are three age categories : Under 10s, Under 12s and Under 14s (ie up to year 8).

Race distances are appropriate to the children's age, ie 600m for U10s whereas 800m for U12s and U14s, who can also do 1200m and 1500m races respectively. Similarly for the sprints : U10s do 60m whereas older children 100m.

One can also enter the hurdles races and field events: Vortex throw, long jump, high jump, shot put and even speed bounce (a "Sportshall" event).
