No events to report this week apart from Parkruns, although a lot of our club runners were out enjoying the arrival of Spring and better weather to brighten up their long training runs.

At Cirencester (where it was too icy to be muddy?) congrats to Rich Allen for notching up another win, although second claim junior member Ben Conway was just a few seconds behind.
For his first race in the “OAP” age category ;-)) Richard Edwards chose Lydiard Park.
Alex Banks finished well up a strong and large field in Poole, improving his parkrun PB to 18:54 - must have been that go faster vest ;-)
Furthest afield was once again Steve Hale in New Zealand – he sent us this report
“This time on North Island and a few small inclines on the University of Waikato run. Smaller number of runners than the main Hamilton (Lake) run so easy to join in and find a good position to start the run. The NZ people are really friendly, like most ParkRunners, and a visitor from the UK always has a bit of novelty value. Fortunately an 8 am start to beat the sun. Legs a bit tired from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing on Wednesday but still an ok result for me. Looking forward to more training when back home!”
