Due to the high temperatures and absence of shade at the track, we have cancelled formal training sessions.
For those of you interested in improving your technique, Bob will be giving a running technique talk for the "Couch to 5k" group this evening, and would welcome others to attend.
If you feel you do need to train today, consider low intensity strength and mobility exercises instead of a run, e.g. improve your mobility by stretching, holding each stretch for about 15 to 20s. Remember your hips are just as important as your legs.
Whatever you do, ensure you have plenty of water, exercise in the shade as much as possible and have long recoveries i.e. keep your heart rate low.
